In order to achieve this goal, it is important to find a type of meditation that is comfortable for you and that you can consistently practice. Samadhi Zendejas is a Mexican-American artist who has become known for her brightly colored paintings of female figures. She has been able to create her own style of painting, which combines both traditional and contemporary elements. Her works are inspired by the history of Mexican culture and the rich tradition of art that she has inherited from her family. She is also a poet and singer.
Origins:
Zendejas was born in El Paso, Texas, to Mexican parents. Her father was a painter who specialized in portraits. Her mother was a nurse, and as a child she would often accompany her mother on hospital visits. She learned to observe the people that she saw and developed an interest in art from her early childhood.
Education:
Zendejas studied at the University of Texas at Austin, earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2004. She also attended the University of the Americas in Puebla, Mexico. She has continued to study art throughout her career. In 2006 she earned a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Art Institute of Chicago, where she was awarded the Ruth Lilly Fellowship Award for her work with children.
